SCO has recently opened the Young Adult Workforce Program for young men and women, ages 18-21 who are currently incarcerated at Rikers Island. Run in partnership with the NYC Dept. of Correction and with funding from the NYC Dept. of Education, the goal is to work with the young people both pre- and post-release to connect them with family, work, education and other resources to ensure their success upon reentry into the community.

SCO has also been awarded the Juvenile Justice Initiative contracts for Brooklyn and Queens. Three JJI teams (2 in Brooklyn, 1 in Queens) will be working with court-involved youth by providing in-home family therapy with the goal of keeping them in school, at home and arrest-free.
